Marshall's swimming and diving program sweeps Conference USA weekly accolades after the Thundering Herd posted a 3-0 mark in three road meets last weekend. Seniors Milla Kuurto and Casey Mulholland each earned their first league recognition following this weekend's performances. Kuurto set the Duquesne Towers Pool record in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:33.62, which came in third amongst all C-USA swimmers for the season. Her 500-yard freestyle time tabbed the sixth best time in Conference USA action. Mulholland had another impressive weekend performance for the Herd as the squad posted wins against Youngstown State, Duquesne and Shippensberg. Mulholland took home her fourth diving victory of the season and third in the one-meter event.

During the Herd's dual meet victory Friday, Kuurto set the Duquesne Towers Pool record in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:33.62, which marks the third best time posted this season amongst all C-USA swimmers.

Kuurto and company return to action Friday, when the squad travels to Oxford, Ohio, to face Miami University and the University of Illinois in a 4 p.m. (ET) meet.

Mulholland grabbed first place in the one-meter diving event, collecting 242.85 points for the Herd en route to posting three victories on the road this weekend and improving its season mark to 5-1.
