Oakland's Zoltan Horvath and IUPUI's Jennifer Ridenour were selected as the Mid-Con Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week after turning in solid performances last week.

Horvath is the Men’s Athlete of the Week for the first time this season after picking up a pair of first place finishes in a dual meet against Pittsburgh Friday. The sophomore opened the meet with a victory in the 200 individual medley with a time of 1:54.96, which was less than a tenth of second faster than the runner-up. Horvath also stood atop the podium in the 200 breaststroke with a league-best time of 2:04.27.

Ridenour garners Women’s Athlete of the Week accolades after taking home three diving wins in a pair of meets last weekend. The junior swept the events in a meet against Butler, Evansville and Xavier. She notched 174.65 points in the one-meter dive and picked up 202.02 tallies in the three-meter event. In a tri-meet with Centre and Lindenwood, Ridenour broke the school record with 245.70 points en route to a win in the three-meter dive. Her point total is tops in the Mid-Con.
