The Auburn women’s diving duo of newcomer Corey Lynn Gerlach and junior Lynnsey Segraves dominated the competition and senior Jeri Moss turned in an ‘A’ cut performance in the 200 back on Friday at the Virginia Aquatics and Fitness Center. AUs No. 1 men and No. 2 women enter the final day of the competition tomorrow leading the team race.

“The girls did a great job this afternoon,” Auburn diving coach Jeff Shaffer said. “Lynnsey and Corey were consistent on both the 1- and 3-meter as Lynnsey won both and Corey finished second. They had some great performances and I am proud of their outstanding job this early in the season. The pushed each other and competed well and if we can keep this up I think we will see great things come February and March.”
