Arboleda picked up his first victory in the 50-freestyle in the fourth event of the day. The transfer from Indian River Community College touched the wall in 21.79 seconds to claim the title. Three events later, the junior got his second victory of the competition when he won the 200-butterfly with a time of 1:53.00. Freshman Kyle Edens was the runner-up in the event with a mark of 1:54.86.
In the 200-medley relay, freshman Jonathon Berrettini, sophomore Aran Bean, junior Brent Norcross and Arboleda teamed up to earn a second place finish in the event with a time of 1:34.79 seconds.
Cameron Allred also had a successful day for the Frogs as he claimed the title in the 200-breaststroke in 2:08.29 seconds. The true freshman also was the runner-up in the 200-individual medley when he finished with a season-best time of 1:57.75.
Junior Kelly McCain continued to thrive in the diving events. In the three-meter springboard event, McCain tallied 318.45 points to win the competition by just under nine points over Vitor Assuncao of Florida.
The men's team, who now sit at 6-3 overall in dual meets this season, will return to competition on Friday when LSU comes to Fort Worth for a 1 p.m. dual. Meanwhile, the women's squad will travel to North Texas on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. dual with the Mean Green.
