The top-ranked Lady Bulldogs won the three-day meet with 1,007.5 points, bettering California's 905 points. The 11th-ranked Georgia men finished second with 984 points, trailing only Tennessee's 1,025.5.
Laura Conway, Aleksandra Putra and Sebastien Rouault all recorded A-cut times on Sunday for Georgia. The 400 free relay team of Jessica Cole, Kara Lynn Joyce, Tricia Harm and Mary DeScenza also notched an A-cut mark in the event.
"This was probably the best invitational that we have ever had on the guys' side," Georgia coach Jack Bauerle said. "For the women, Mary was spectacular, and her five A-cuts is something we've never had. I wish we could swim her in every event."
In the 1,650 free, Conway (16:19.78) clocked an A-cut time and won the event. Claire Maust (16:36.71) and Alyssa Kiel (16:46.65) also lowered their B-cut marks.
Putra (1:57.97) recorded an A-cut mark in the 200 back and placed third in the event.
Cole clocked a time of 50.06 in the 100 free, which lowered her B-cut time in the event.
DeScenza (1:54.21) lowered her A-cut time in the 200 fly and won the race. Karen Guilkey (1:59.81) and Beth Grams (2:01.38) both recorded B-cut times in the event.
In the 400 free relay, Cole, Joyce, Harm and DeScenza (3:18.15) finished with an A-cut time. Cole's leadoff 100 time of 49.85 also gave her a B-cut mark.
On the men's side, Rouault won the 1,650 free with a time of 14:55.31 and recorded an A-cut time for his effort.
In the 200 fly, Gil Stovall (1:46.29) won the race and lowered his B-cut effort, while Jonathan Schmidt (1:47.86) recorded a B-cut time.
The 400 relay team of Stovall, Peter Verhoef, Nathan Bibliowicz and Cameron Hollinger touched in 2:57.80, recording a B-cut time.
Next up for Georgia will be the Georgia Diving Invitational on Jan. 6-8. Dual-meet action for the men and women will resume on Jan. 6 versus Kentucky and the Lady Bulldogs will host SMU on Jan. 7.
