As a team, Bentley is second amongst seven teams, with its score of 304.5 leaving the Falcons well back of the host team (657).
Sophomores Bryan Stinchfield (Darien, Conn./Darien HS) and Kyle Reese (New Haven, Conn./Notre Dame HS) each had a fourth place finish, Stinchfield in the 200 free (1:50.10) and Reese in the one-meter diving (331.90).
Krawiecki and Stinchfield also helped Bentley finshed second in the 400 medley relay, combining with sophomore Art Englehard (Apalachin, N.Y./Owego Free Academy) and junior Chris Booth (Cumberland, Maine/Greely HS) for a time of 3:46.64.
Englehard, Booth and Stinchfield were also part of Bentley’s 200 freestyle relay team, which finished third in 1:30.70. Rounding out the quartet was senior James Bunn (Bronxville, N.Y./Bronxville HS).
The meet continues on Saturday.

Bentley sophomore Arden Brust (Newark, N.Y./Newark HS) captured the 100 yard backstroke, and medaled in two other events, Friday during the first day of the Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships at Southern Connecticut State.
Led by Brust, Bentley finished the opening day with 366 points, good for third place in a seven-team field. Southern Connecticut owns first place, with 481, and Le Moyne is second with 416.
Brust had a winning time of 1:02.39 in the 100 breast as she touched 0.21 seconds ahead of Genevieve Suits of Le Moyne. She also finished third in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:48.54.
In addition, Brust teamed with senior Brianne Tulley (Chelmsford, Mass./Chelmsford HS), freshman Kristen Thuerk (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire HS) and sophomore Allison Colarusso (Middleboro, Mass./Coyle-Cassidy HS) for second place in the meet’s first event, the 400 medley relay. Their time was 4:12.90.
Tulley picked up silver in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.34), Thuerk was a bronze-medal winner in the 100 butterfly (1:01.91) and junior Tezzy Bergantz (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull HS) finished third in the one-meter diving (3:21.45).
Bentley also had third-place finishes in both the 200 free relay and the 800 free relay. In the 200, the quartet of Tulley, Colarusso, sophomore Liza Connolly (Washington, Conn./Shepaug Valley HS) and junior Kaitlin Anelauskas (Medfield, Mass./Medfield HS) combined for a time of 1:44.81.
The foursome in the 800 was Thuerk, junior Amana Albertian (Hopkinton, Mass./Hopkinton HS), sophomore Joel Barlow (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow HS) and freshman Alexa Waldron (Hewitt, N.J./Immaculate Heart Acad.). They finished in 8:33.24.
The two-day meet concludes on Saturday.
