Harvard (7-0, 5-0 Ivy League) swept the top three spots in three races and claimed the first two places in six other events.
Lee and Mulkey started out the day by helping the Crimson win the 200-yard medley relay in 1:48.50. They finished it in similar fashion, swimming the last two legs for the victorious 200 freestyle relay squad. Sophomores Lindsay Hart and Bridget O’Connor swam the other two legs of the 200 medley. Junior Emily Wilson and senior Kim Linsenmann took care of the first half of the 200 free relay.
In between the two relay wins, Lee won the 200 backstroke in 2:27.56, beating out freshman teammate Kirsten Harper. Mulkey’s individual win came in the 100 butterfly in 58.77 seconds.
Papadakis swept the diving events, winning the one-meter with 271.65 points and the three-meter with 289.35.
Evans’ first win came in the 100 breaststroke, as she finished in 1:07.32. Amanda Slaight was second in 1:08.64. Evans also won the 200 individual medley in 2:08.34 to lead a Crimson sweep of the top three spots. Senior Kim Ono and junior Kelly Blondin claimed the next two places.
Harvard also took the top three places in the 1,000 free and the 100 back. Junior Noelle Bassi led the way in the 1,000 with a time of 10:09.59. Freshman Emiley Jellie was second, followed by Harper. Hart won the 100 back in 59.05 seconds, ahead of Ono and freshman Linnea Sundberg.
Junior Jessica Davidson, Chang and Jellie accounted for Harvard’s other three wins. Davidson won the 200 back in 2:08.86, and Wilson was second. Chang won the 200 fly in 2:07.35, ahead of Stacy Blondin. Jellie (5:05.51) and Kelly Blondin (5:06.69) were more than eight seconds faster than the first Penn finisher in the 500 free.
