The Hokies are ranked 24th in the nation by College Swimming Coaches' Association. This is the first-ever national ranking for the Tech women's swimming & diving squad.

"The Lady Hokies competed very well today in the pool," said head coach Ned Skinner. "We were excited to see we were ranked 24th in the nation and wanted to show the swimming world we were worthy of that ranking. This is a good prelude for our quad meet next week against No. 14 Maryland, No. 19 Florida State and Georgia Tech."
