Freshman Megan Pulaski continued a good start of her career for ECU. Pulaski won the 1000 freestyle (10:19.55) and 500 freestyle (5:08.76) to pace the ECU women. Freshman diver Chrisitie Icenhower swept the diving events. Icenhower scored 237.53 in 1 meter diving and 237.30 in 3 meter diving. ECU also received first place finishes from Jennie Meade, Adrienne Williams, Holly Williams, Courtney Felker, EC Moore and Diane Parker.
East Carolina swept the relay events. The 400 freestyle relay team of Sarah Hunt, Kate Gordon, Jennie Meade and Lara Fuller won the event in 3:38.41. The 400 medley relay team of Moore, Parker, Gordon and Felker won in 3:58.09.
Davidson's Eleanor Trefzger won the 200 butterfly in 2:09.66.
On the men's side, senior Gavin Stark paced the ECU men to their second straight win. Stark took first place in the 200 freestyle (1:43.86) and 100 freestyle (47.01). Freshman diver Ryan Hunt swept the diving events scoring 258.60 in 3 meter diving and 233.55 in 1 meter diving.
ECU also received first place finishes from Justin Brinkley, Greg Neville, Casey Cronin and Charlie McCanless. The ECU men also took both relay events. The 400 medley relay team of Kelly Hendrick, Cronin, Parker Bostick and Josh Curnutte won in 3:33.50. The 400 freestyle relay team of Hendrick, Stark, Brinkley and Bostick placed first in 3:14.09.
William Broughton won the 1000 freestyle for Davidson in 9:48.49. Davidson also received a win from Robert Broughton in the 500 freestyle (4:47.56).
