Nevada's Groth Comments on Swimming

When asked about the potential of adding sports, new Nevada AD Cary Groth commented, "I would love to see a swimming program that was men's and women's. They feed off one another. Right now, we are doing all we can afford. It would take a huge investment (to add more sports). The beauty of swimming is you have the same coaches that usually coach men's and woman's. But right now we are not in a fiscal position or an infrastructure position meaning academic support and strength conditioning support to add any other sports, I'd love to though, but not right now." ...but perhaps in the future?
