Additional Information: Founded as the Naval School in 1845, the United States Naval Academy is a four-year service academy that prepares midshipmen morally, mentally and physically to be professional officers in the naval service. The Academy has played an active and distinguished role in intercollegiate athletics since our inception. Navy is affiliated with the NCAA (division I) and competes within the Patriot League along with the EISL in swimming and diving. Lejeune Hall is one of the finest 50 meter facilities in the Northeast.
